This year's Roadshow took place during the performance of LOVE Chapter 2, winner of the FEDORA - VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Prize for Ballet 2017, at the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris. It was a great occasion to meet Sharon Eyal and discover more about the inspiration behind her coreographic work.

I'm
a living, loving, functioning being broken into crumbs of love. giving myself to the blast.
Disaster,
end and hope undergo as an illness to the dancer's body.
Now
that there are no borders we are dangerous to ourselves.
Liquids
of information, the pain of loss and mental exhaustion mutate into a big heart coated with darkness and matter of guarded secrets.
This
creation is post illness, after all, was lost It holds by a touch to keep us alive dreaming in a blind
body.
This
creation is a reason to cry.

Love Chapter 2 is certainly exciting.

Its dark atmosphere, its unexpected movements full of passion, its disturbing and enigmatic music... all contributes to enchanting and even bewitching the audience.

We invite you to immerse yourself in the world of emotions and get lost in this frenetic choreography with no evidence of narrative.

Don't miss the next Chapter - LOVE Chapter 3, this coming September, at the Ruhr Triennale Festival in Germany. For the third time L-E-V's creation is co-produced with the leading dance venues around the globe: Sadler’s Wells-

London (another FEDORA Platform Member) and Julidans-Amsterdam, Montpellier Dance festival in France.

A summer concert in a park with our Platform Member Den Jyske Opera

On Saturday, June 12th, together with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, Den Jyske Opera invited their audience to a free and festive opera concert under the open sky, where they could experience excerpts from both well-known classics and unknown opera treasures. The audience could enjoy excerpts from Carmen, La Bohème and Fête galante, performed by national and international soloists from the upcoming season: Ksenia Antonova, Christian Damsgaard, Randy Diamond, Sidsel Aja Eriksen, Morten Grove Frandsen, Trond Halstein Moe, Lena Haselmann and Laura Scherwitzl.
